This development provides the clearest evidence yet that the game will be coming to platforms other than consoles.
Death Stranding 2 PC release on the horizon
The sequel, developed by Kojima Productions, is being eagerly awaited by gamers. Sony Interactive Entertainment is both producing and publishing the game. According to sources, the game was initially released for the PlayStation 5 on June 26th.

The most striking detail in the new rating list is the publisher information. According to the listing, Sony Interactive Entertainment is the publisher of the PC version. This indicates a shift in strategy compared to the first game in the series.
As you may recall, the PC versions of the first game followed a different path. 505 Games handled PC publishing for the original Death Stranding and its Director’s Cut. However, Sony appears to be taking matters into its own hands with the sequel. Considering the first game’s release on PC eight months after its PS4 release, it’s questionable whether a similar schedule will work.
